With a vast country, one can find almost all kinds of landscape in Mainland China from grasslands to snow-capped mountains. There is no other country having more man-made and natural sights worth seeing (the cultural sight density is higher in Italy). I say this not because I am an ethnic Chinese but as someone who has visited more than 150 member countries of the United Nations (UN) and many non-UN entities. I have never tired of visiting Mainland China though I have been to all its provinces, etc for a total of more than 4 years since 1984. I was back from Mainland China in mid-September 2016.
